Speakers:
Marvin Olasky, Former Editor of World Magazine, Author and Co-author of Five Books on Abortion
Marvin Olasky is the author or co-author of five books on abortion, including The Story of Abortion in America (2023). He edited World magazine from 1992 to 2021 and currently writes a weekly column on homelessness. He was a professor at The University of Texas at Austin from 1983 to 2008.
Dr. Olasky graduated from Yale University in 1971 and gained a Ph.D. in American Culture from the University of Michigan in 1976. He is an elder of the Presbyterian Church in America and has been married to his wife, Susan, for 47 years. She founded the Austin Crisis Pregnancy Center in 1984. They have four sons and six grandchildren.
